Multi-use Table

Summary
(please click on any of the pictures for a larger one - use the BACK button to come back)

There is not much room inside the Kodiak. Certainly not enough room for a permanent table.

Instead, some sort of fold-out table was needed.

I used some heavy-duty folding shelf brackets (rated at 750lbs!) for the table. They are just made of steel, so I am not sure how long they will last. I painted them black for looks as well as to try to make them last a little longer.

The table didn't come out quite as "elegant" as I first imagined, but it will have to do for now.

This is the folded position.

Lift up from the bottom, and it creates a small snack and drink table.

Then the top leaf flips over to make a larger table useable by both settees.

In use!

Lessons Learned

There are no right angles on a boat (I didn't learn that the last three times....)
